Dreamgazer Chapterhouse, Lush, Broadcast, Bowery Electric ++ I can hear it all in this release. Very cleverly crafted. Really appreciate these golden vocals & the fact the lyrics are appended. Brilliance!

**For lovers of Stereolab, Curve, Broadcast, Cocteau Twins, Lush, Slowdive, No Joy, SPC ECO**
Ummagma is a Canadian-Ukrainian indie duo, whose dream pop shoegaze front began in Moscow, where they recently made enough noise to land a full-page spread in Rolling Stone Russia. The duo has won Alternative Eurovision competitions for 2 years (Amazing Radio in 2013; Pure FM in 2014), as well as 2 awards at the 2013 Australian Independent Music Video Awards (incl. best pop international video). But that’s not the only feather in their cap, having also caught the attention of Robin Guthrie (Cocteau Twins) and Malcolm Holmes (OMD), both of whom remixed tracks for release in autumn 2014.

Ummagma combines their love of indie rock, synthpop and electronica to create their own unique brand of “dreamgaze” power pop, with emphasis on mesmerizing ethereal vocals and lush reverb-laced soundscapes. Loaded with positivity, Ummagma offers a soundtrack of reverie for both trailblazers and stargazers.

This single follows Ummagma's 2 debut LPs 'Antigravity' and 'Ummagma' (2012). Also check the latest 'Lama' extended EP (May 16, 2014) [both released on Emerald & Doreen Recordings]. Mastered by producer Marc Joy (Mike Peters, Golden Fable, Primal Scream, Bernard Butler, Lights That Change).

LOOK FORWARD to Ummagma's collaborative LP with Moscow-based Sounds of Sputnik on Ear to Ear Records (release date: August 25, 2014).

Track Name: Rotation
Didn’t see it coming now
Or I would have run
Mood set on lying low
And down I go

Lay it all to rest today
With the setting sun
Put on the stereo
The lights down low

On the other side of joy
Seems you’ve been cornered
By captivity
And there’s no way of breaking free
Your head is full of noise
That can’t be drowned out
By your radio
On the other side of joy
Track Name: Live and Let Die
Well he may be gone
But you’re not left for foregone
Don’t you go now knock yourself out
‘Cuz I say live and let die
Say live and let die

The night is so long
It seems to just wind right on
Don’t you go now wasting your breath
Just let those sleeping dogs lie
Yeah, let sleeping dogs lie

And now you see and now you don’t
Nothing is black and white
Read your every line
And between the lines
It’s easy come and easy go
That’s what you get with
Instant recipes
They always claim to please
